About Potenza Learning
Professional certification training by a real-world practitioner, not just a career trainer.
Our Story
Potenza Learning was founded on a simple but powerful idea: professional certification training should be taught by people who actually do the work, not just people who teach about it.
Too often, training becomes theoretical, disconnected from the real challenges professionals face every day. We believe differently. Our courses are led by practitioners who live and breathe business analysis, enterprise architecture, and solution consulting in their daily work.
What started as one passionate practitioner training a few colleagues has grown into a professional training company serving students across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. But we've never lost sight of what makes us different: real experience, practical insights, and a genuine commitment to student success.

A Practitioner First, Trainer Second
Giovanni isn't a career trainer. He's an active Solution Consultant who spends most of his time working on real projects in product management, enterprise architecture, and business architecture. Training is his passion, not his primary occupation - and that makes all the difference.
"I only train a few days a year, out of love and passion for the profession," Giovanni explains. "When I teach, I'm sharing what I practiced that same week, that same month. My students don't get theory from textbooks - they get real-world insights from current projects."
Professional Journey
With over 25 years of training experience, Giovanni has trained hundreds of professionals across industries and continents. His approach is unique: he combines deep theoretical knowledge with practical, daily application of business analysis principles.
Current Role
Today, Giovanni works as an independent Solution Consultant, specializing in the intersection of product management, enterprise architecture, and business architecture. This active practice means every training session is enriched with current examples, recent challenges, and practical solutions that work in the real world.
Why We're Different
Practitioner-Led
Our instructors actively work in the field. You're learning from people who do this work every day, not career trainers reading from slides.
Beyond Theory
We go way beyond "death by PowerPoint." Our interactive format includes real case studies, practical exercises, and hands-on application.
Exam Success Focused
We don't just teach concepts - we prepare you to pass certification exams. Our students consistently achieve 90%+ first-time pass rates.
Student-Centered
Small class sizes, personalized attention, ongoing support. Your success is our success, and we're invested in your professional growth.
Global Perspective
Serving students across US, Canada, and UK. Multiple time zones, diverse industries, varied challenges - we understand your context.
Proprietary Methods
We own and shape our training curriculum. Content is continuously updated based on real-world changes and student feedback.
Our Training Philosophy
1. Active Learning Over Passive Consumption
Adults learn by doing, not by sitting and listening. Our courses are built on interaction: exercises, discussions, case analyses, group work. You'll be engaged, not bored.
2. Practical Application Immediately
Theory only matters if you can use it. Every concept we teach is connected to real-world application. You'll leave knowing not just what to do, but how and when to do it.
3. Certification as a Journey, Not a Destination
Passing the exam is important, but it's not the end. We equip you with skills you'll use throughout your career, and we support you beyond course completion.
4. Respect for Professional Experience
You bring valuable experience to the classroom. We honor that by creating collaborative learning environments where participants learn from each other as well as from the instructor.
"My goal isn't to create exam-passers. My goal is to develop capable, confident business analysis professionals who can drive real value in their organizations. The certification is proof of that capability, not the capability itself."
